COVID-19 Information

Dear Families,

This has definitely been a unique year filled with uncertainty and exploration of new endeavors. Our reopening has been going great! Our days consist of multiple activities occurring simultaneously, which includes social distancing while encouraging communication and prosocial development, such as turn taking and sharing. The children are enjoying making new friends and building upon relationships using verbal and non-verbal communication. The staff and children have adjusted quickly and easily to their new routines, as everyone is enjoying their time at school.

Here at TLC we have smaller class sizes and a smaller school overall. Our students are in their scheduled classrooms all day (other than outdoor times) without interactions with other classrooms, reducing the spread of illness. Individual attention, growth, care, learning, personal protection, and safety are our top priorities. Our Kindergarten Readiness Initiative program (KRI) includes teaching reading, writing, math, and science skills with a child centered focus.

We recognize that making school-based decisions are difficult overall, and are especially challenging during this time. We are happy to discuss how we as a program, an extension of your family, and a community, are here to support your family by providing the highest quality of childcare!
